Grant Ellis - Land Conservation Manager
As Land Conservation Manager for Green Spaces Alliance, Grant Ellis works with landowners to help them preserve their farms, ranches, and open spaces throughout south Texas. He also works closely with other nonprofit conservation organizations, governmental agencies, and private businesses to promote land conservation in San Antonio and the surrounding communities.
Grant joined Green Spaces Alliance in April of 2008 after serving as the Conservation Advocacy Programs Officer for the American Bird Conservancy in Washington, DC. His other experience in legislative advocacy includes stints at the National Council of State Housing Agencies and the National American Indian Housing Council.
A native of Fort Worth, TX, Grant graduated with a degree in History from Trinity University in San Antonio in 1997. He also holds a law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. He enjoys exploring the natural and cultural resources of south Texas, and takes considerable pleasure in riding his bike to work.
