Susan Hughes - Executive Director
Susan Hughes joined Green Spaces Alliance in February of 2010 as Executive Director. Susan has a wealth of experience in the fields of information management and communications and is dedicated to environmental causes throughout San Antonio and the Southwest.
Among her community activities, Susan serves on the boards of the Edwards Aquifer Authority and Bexar Audubon Society, is a member of the Hill Country Alliance’s advisory board, and was a founder of the South Texas Farm and Range Forum, which will see its seventh iteration this February. Her conservation work includes five years on the National Audubon Society board of directors, and she is a trustee of Save the Laja, Inc., a Texas not-for-profit fostering watershed and habitat conservation in the Texas-Central Mexico corridor.
