Community Gardens Network Wins Award from American Planning Association
The San Antonio Section of the American Planning Association Awards Committee has selected the Community Gardens Network to receive the Roxie Anderson Award.
This award is given by the San Antonio Section Director to a public sector planner or a project based on outstanding service to the planning profession. The award recognizes the scope of the Community Gardens Network and the impact that it has had in building community through a fun and sustainable means.
The namesake of the Roxie Andersen award was a woman who dedicated twenty years of her life to the City of San Antonio's Planning Department.
